Registered users to this site need to re-register, sorry...
For those of you that have been using a PC for a while, I'm sure that you have already run into the problem of software becoming obsolete, and even more problems of updating your system while maintaining access to all of the information you have saved. Of course, there is also the frustrating situation of having to learn new features and interfaces that Microsoft imposes on you, grrr..........
Well, we recently had a problem with this site whereby the various pieces of software it was running on became incompatible and it broke. I doubt if you were even aware of this as you could still get on the site, but unfortunately registered users could not log on.
To fix this we have had to do a complete re-build of the site. It was not quite as bad as some of the automobile projects you have taken on, but a lot more urgent !!
The good news is that the site is now back up running, the bad news is that all registered users will have to re-register as we have no idea what your passwords were on the old site. FYI, when you enter a password we immediately encrypt it to protect your privacy, plus the new site software has a much higher level of encryption than before.
Great security, eh !!
