The Fraser Valley British Motor Club is a collection of enthusiasts dedicated to the restoration and running of classic British cars. The club is full of members that have a long history researching and overcoming all of the problems you would imagine that come with rebuilding and maintaining cars that originated so many years ago from a distant land, not to mention the nuances dealing with such things as Lucas electrics !!

The Fraser Valley Birtish Car Club meets on the third Friday of each month at the Threshermans Hall, which is located beside the Heritage Park in Chilliwack BC. The meeting time is 8:00 pm.

Join us in celebrating this era of classic style.  Take part in discussions by sending us mail, you may even find answers to that long-time question you've had.  Please feel free to join us at any of our meetings or rallies, and please send us feedback as we are always trying to improve our site...

Mr. Allen Swift & his Rolls 1928 Rolls Royce Picadilly P1 Roadster

This has to be a record for car ownership!

Mr. Allen Swift (Springfield, MA.) received this 1928 Rolls-Royce Picadilly P 1 Roadster
from his father, brand new - as a graduation gift in 1928. He drove it up until his death last year.....at the age of 102 !!!

He was the oldest living owner of a car from new. Just thought you'd like to see it. He donated the Picadilly to a Springfield museum after his death. It has 170,000 miles on it, still runs like a Swiss watch, dead silent at any speed and is in perfect cosmetic condition.    82 years old, errr...... that's slightly over 2000 miles per year.

Unfortunately he wasn't a member of our club, but I bet he wishes he was !!
